Brighton Vineyard was started as a house group in February of 1999 with the vision of growing an eclectic church that will pursue the presence and purpose of God in our generation.

This means building a community of people young and old, different nationalities, religious backgrounds etc. who can meet together with a common purpose.

That purpose is to follow Jesus and bear witness to the truth to those around us. In Jesus we have the personification of truth and an example to follow. Jesus never made following Him an easy option but He did promise it to be a fulfilling one, living life to the full with relationship and purpose.

It always amazes me that God has chosen ordinary people like you and me to do extraordinary things for him. Our church is endeavouring to to do those extraordinary things.

Someone came to me only this week and told me how Jesus had changed her life. For me this is Christianity. Jesus offers us not only His love and acceptance, forgiveness of all we've done wrong, and ticket to heaven but also redemption. In other words He lifts us out of the mess and changes us.

So whatever your understanding of Christianity do feel free to come and join us. If you feel messed up, all the better, in fact you're the very person Jesus came for. So come as you are and let God reveal Himself to you and the wonderful plan He has for your life.
