Brighton Vineyard Kids/Youth welcomes you and your children on Sunday mornings!
THE FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
The first Sunday of the month is a “Family Service” where the children of all ages are encouraged to sit with their parents, and join in. The talks are short and punchy, aimed at all ages, and run by various members of the church. We encourage prayer for one another in the church, and as a presence led church are always searching for what God The Holy Spirit is wanting to do. The kids serve the teas and coffees, are members of the worship band, pass round chocolates, hand out the notice sheets, and generally participate in the life of the church on this Sunday.
THE REST OF THE MONTH
For the rest of the month, we have a range of group activities that your children can join in with, or if you prefer, we are happy for your child to stay with you during the main service.
Children are welcome in the service, and are encouraged to stay in for worship, after which you can take them to their specified children’s group, where you will need to sign them in, and out again at 12.00 pm prompt.
SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION
We train our children’s leaders and helpers, using CCPAS online training. The senior leaders update their skills using organisations like safety net in Brighton.
All our children’s workers are reference checked, followed by a DBS check (police check). Our safeguarding policy is available on request, as is our training and welcome pack for kids’ leaders.
At present we have approximately sixty children in the church.
