Lots of things have been written about Christianity and with a plethora of denominations and groups you might be forgiven for thinking is it even possible to define such a thing!

We regularly run an evening service where the aim is to begin to connect people with the basics of Christianity without it being boring. The aim is to cut away as many of the obstacles to finding Christ, whilst keeping to a church service. This means you can hear someone speak whose life has been profoundly changed by meeting Christ, as well as a short talk. The music is great to listen to without any expectation of having to join in. In addition we keep the bar open.

In many ways many of us in the church have made Christianity unappealing, irrelevant even, and probably out of date. Christianity is now two thousand years old and certainly in our country with so many Norman churches it’s very easy to think that Jesus belongs to another time in history! Worse still if you are wondering if it’s true or not, can it help me, etc we haven’t answered your questions or allowed you to find out. So here at our church in Brighton we want to do just that, which is why we say come as you are. You don’t need to come feeling you understand everything (you never will) and you can explore Christianity and ask questions. In fact we also run a ten week course for people just like you called Alpha.
