Our Church could be described as very much 'come as you are', we aim for it to be exciting, fun and if you’re looking or searching for God, then this might be just the place to find out. It’s like, come, 'no experience is necessary'. We know that if you’re reading this and you’re not in any way a church goer, but want to explore Christianity that this can be very hard. We can promise you’ll be assured a warm welcome and won't be belittled for any questions you might have. Our services are informal and dressing down is the norm. Coffee and doughnuts are usually in abundance throughout our service, most of the time it’s difficult to pull people away from talking and although we aim to start on time it's more likely we're going to start late! We are a large enough Church to feel anonymous if you want to come and see. The service starts with 20 minutes or so of worship with songs mainly written in the last twenty years, the words are projected onto a screen so you can easily join in. Some of our songs are written by our musicians from within the church and if you are a musician you are encouraged to get involved. After a time of worship we have a few notices following by a short talk. At the same time our Children's Ministry gets underway for Children up to the age of 11. The talk is, we hope, relevant, not too long and followed by a time of prayer. In our Church everyone can pray and we do offer prayer for the sick as well as those who have specific needs such as a new job, concerning their finances or perhaps on dealing with a difficult boss. We know life is, for many, not easy and part of God's idea in starting this church was to encourage each one of us as a community. We aim to finish after about an hour and a half, so if you want to find out more then please come and see. Sermon Diary: The Easter Series will unpack words that many of us may or may not be familiar with. Chris will endeavour to reach into the first century and understand the meaning of these words to us today. | March 14th | Sin | | March 28th | Suffering | | April 4th | Sacrifice | | April 11th | Salvation |
