Alpha - We're currently running a course, and plan to run another course later in 2010. It's open to all, a meal is provided and each evening is interactive with lots of opportunities to ask questions. We discuss questions you might have about Christianity, the person of Jesus, suffering, the church etc. more info...

Community Action Prayer Meeting - next date - (Every 6 weeks) before church at 10am. Meeting at the bottom of the stairs inside and to the right of the main entrance, past the teas and coffees.
Other events
The Carpenter’s Arms @ St Luke’s - Next date 28th March at 24pm - Once a month we partner with St Luke’s Church, in arranging an evening service aimed at the disadvantaged of our community. The service starts with a movie, great food (served at 6:30), worship from The Evening Service Band and a short talk & testimony to follow the meal. Healing on the Streets of Brighton & Hove next date Saturday 27th March We are planning to pray once a month on the streets of Brighton & Hove with St Lukes church between 10am-12noon on George Street in Hove offering prayer for the sick. No experience is necessary, and if you have never done it before, try it! God may use you to do something incredible. Please contact the office for more details at:

HOTS training will be held in May on the evening of Friday 7th and morning of Saturday 8th This will be led by Rev. Simon Allaby who we are fortunate to have on the Brighton team. He is now an accredited HOTS trainer and recently has been involved in training start up groups in Sweden.

WANT TO MINISTER IN RUSSIA?! Russian Vineyards Annual Vineyard Conference (weekend of Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd May 2010)
This year’s conference for Pastors and Leaders will be in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. Krasnoyarsk was a closed city in the Soviet Union and is now a growing city of over a million people, with a Vineyard church planted in the centre since the early 1990’s.
The conference will focus on the keeping the church relevant to our culture with inspirational talks and seminars from leaders in the Vineyard movement across the world.
This year’s main speaker will be David Parker from the Desert Vineyard Church in Lancaster California. David is a leading international speaker with a strong prophetic voice to the church. He together with his wife Nancy are pastors to over 5,000 people in the Southern California area.
All Vineyard churches in Russia should be represented at the conference as well as those from Dagestan and Tajikistan.
Full itinerary details and plans will be provided, as well as instructions on obtaining a visa to the Russian Federation. Travel dates are flexible, especially for those wanting to improve their Russian, and precise dates of travel will be confirmed nearer the time. A Russian partnership booklet is available on request.
